Armenian-Georgian Conference on the “Armenia-Georgia Strategic Partnership: From Concept to Reality”

Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Gor Tsarukyan, Director of the Public Relations and Information Center made welcoming speeches at the event. Lasha Darsalia, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia provided a video message. The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan participated as an honored guest, emphasizing the crucial role of expert communities in shaping the future perspectives of strategic cooperation between Armenia and Georgia as envisaged by the Armenian Government.

During the event, Armenian and Georgian experts, with active audience involvement, discussed various aspects of Armenian-Georgian cooperation at the level of the new strategic partnership of bilateral relations. They also addressed emerging challenges in our region influenced by current geopolitical realities, and proposed scenarios for new areas of cooperation and new formats, particularly emphasizing the continuity of the democratization process in both countries and their path towards European integration. This unique format of expert cooperation in Armenia-Georgia relations also generated great interest within professional, social and media circles.

The expert event lasted three days. On April 10, Georgian experts had meetings with high-ranking officials of the Republic of Armenia, discussing a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Cultural events were scheduled for the third day of the conference.
